Terms of service
What you are agreeing to when you download, try or subscribe to Mjolnir. Short, because the product is simple: a desktop app, a subscription, and a licence key.
Last updated 20 September 2026.
Who is selling
Mjolnir is made and sold by Aman Jain, who you can reach at [email protected]. Payments are taken by Paddle.com Market Limited ("Paddle"), who are the merchant of record. Paddle's own buyer terms apply to the transaction, and these terms apply to the product.
What you get
A licence to install and run the Mjolnir desktop application on up to five machines that you use, for as long as your subscription is active. Every module and every feature is included on every plan. The source is published under the Elastic License 2.0, which lets you read it, build it and change it, and does not let you offer it to others as a hosted or managed service.
The trial
Every new account gets 30 days of the whole product with no card. When it runs out the app keeps opening and your settings, connections and history stay where they are; what stops is reading a cluster, which is the product. One extension is granted on request from inside the app.
Price, renewal and cancellation
The price is $9 per person, per month, or $90 per person, per year, in US dollars, plus any tax the checkout adds for where you are. A subscription renews automatically at the end of each period, monthly or yearly, at the price shown when you subscribed, until you cancel. Cancel at any time from the link in any Paddle receipt or by writing to [email protected]; the licence then runs to the end of the period you have paid for and stops renewing. Prices can change, and a change reaches an existing subscription only at its next renewal and only after you have been told by email at least thirty days before.
Refunds
Within 14 days of a first payment you can have all of it back for any reason. The details are on the refund policy.
Seats and machines
A seat is held by a machine that is using it, and a licence has five. Signing a machine out on the licence page frees its seat at once. Sharing one licence between several people is not what it is for; teams get a seat count of their own, see Teams.
What we do not do
We never read your clusters, containers, stores, machines, databases or brokers. The app talks to your own infrastructure from your own machine with your own credentials, and nothing it reads there is sent to us. The privacy policy lists the little that is.
Availability and liability
The app is licensed to work offline: your licence is a signed file your machine checks by itself, and the app keeps working for thirty days past a renewal it cannot confirm. The licence service and this website are provided as they are, without a guaranteed uptime. To the extent the law allows, our liability to you for anything arising from the product is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing here limits what cannot be limited by law, including your statutory rights as a consumer.
Acceptable use
You must be at least 18, or the age of majority where you live, to buy. Do not use the app to reach infrastructure you are not allowed to reach. Do not resell keys, and do not remove or work around the licence check.
Changes and law
If these terms change you will be told by email before the change takes effect for you. They are governed by the laws of India, without prejudice to the consumer protections of the country you live in. Questions go to [email protected].
